why Agriculture?

Ganesan Govender

I never had the privilege of spending my formative years with one of the wisest men in my life, my grand father, Ganesan Govender. Born in KwaZulu-Natal (1934) he knew there was much more to life than material possessions. Rather than accepting his situation he decided to use the very soil he was born onto to change the trajectory of the Govender family. The land provided for his family's needs and the world rewarded it. His hard work and dedication to the love of farming lives far beyond his life on Earth.

We miss you Dada.

Agriculture is our wisest pursuit, because it will in the end contribute most to real wealth, good morals, and happiness.
